- Pop is doing better. He's actually in the CCU (cardiac care unit,) not the ICU like we originally thought. Interestingly, the doctors haven't completely ruled out surgery as an option. We're planning on being there this weekend because we can make the drive fairly quickly. The main thing we'll be doing is helping out however we can.
- Uncle Jim was admitted to the hospital yesterday with a high fever. They aren't sure what caused it... it could have been anything from illness to bad blood in the transfusion he received. He may be able to go home on Thursday.
