carpal denial syndrome?

So about a week ago, my index finger started hurting while I was using my mouse. It still hurts. When I started reading about the treatments, I got too squeamish. :-D Right now, I'm trying out using my mouse with my left hand so that my right hand can rest for a while. Not too bad for general mousing around, but not good for things that need to be accurate. Luckily with my cordless mouse, I can switch hands pretty quickly (although not with the ergonomic contour that fits my right hand.)
