movin' right along...

Last Thursday, I dropped Patrick off at the Nashville airport to catch the 6:10 p.m. flight to DFW. (This is the third time in one week that one of us has taken this flight.) Friday morning, he and Allison and a couple of teenagers from church packed up a 14 foot U-Haul full of everything from her third floor apartment and school classroom. On Saturday, they hitched the trailer with her car on it to the U-Haul and headed east. (Click here for the Texas pictures, taken by Dad.) They spent the night in Monroe, Louisiana. Early on Sunday morning, they continued their trek to Atlanta, and on Sunday after church, I departed Nashville to meet them there. I managed to pull into the hotel parking lot only about five minutes after they did. We waited until the next morning to unload everything from the truck and into the second floor apartment, which only took about 2 and a 1/2 hours. So, the countdown is on to the wedding!

What a great son, daughter and future son-in-law. We're thankful that it went all soooo smooothly.

Love,

Dad and Mom

I'm a little behind, so I'm sure you already know, but IKEA just opened a store in Atlanta!
Guess we'll be going to visit your sister soon!

IKEA also opens a store in the DFW area August 3rd. A trip to see Reganne can include a stop by IKEA too.

IKEA sounds like an excellent excuse to visit Reganne. ;-) That combined with a NetSaver fare will have us at your front door!
