Secretary Chertoff just coined a new word in his press conference: ultracatastrophe. He compared the dual catastrophes of Katrina and the levee failures to recovery after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake, saying that the effort was "like recovery after the Tsunami, only with all the water still there."
