google street view car spotted in Nashville!

Google is sending a fleet of Chevy Cobalts throughout America to take pictures of "street view" images for Google Maps.

I saw one this morning pulling into the downtown Broadway Exxon station to fill up. Expect some Nashville street views soon!

Actually, it'll be kind of interesting to see what the turn time is like from them shooting the city to getting it upload to testing it to live on the web.

I saw a vw bug with one of those globe-camera-arrays on the roof around charlotte and hillwood on sunday (7/22) -- I assume that was the streetview folks...
