ice, ice baby

The latest trend to hit cell phones is ICE. It stands for "In Case of Emergency." You program an emergency number, usually next of kin, into your cell phone in case you are in an accident and unable to respond. Your ICE person should be able to supply your date of birth, address, and any outstanding medical problems you have. My cell phone now has a button that says "ICE-Husband." I told him he was Mr. Freeze.

On a related note, MY PARENTS BOUGHT A CELL PHONE! Welcome to the 90s, Mama and Daddy.
