What a week - Monday night I came down with a stomach virus. It was the first time I had been sick like that in 12 years. Fortunately, I had a wonderful husband to take care of me. He managed to take care of me and make it to Men's Fraternity the next morning. I was out of work for two days and still am not feeling right. A stomach virus combined with Irritable Bowel Syndrome is not a fun thing. I can't seem to get my appetite back.
Patrick just returned from a conference in Memphis. While I am not eating much more than rice and soup, he was feasting on Japanese food at two meals on his trip. At least I didn't have to watch him eat food I love when I can't eat.
On a happy note, Sara's sister, Alysa Jeanette Owens, was born on Wednesday morning. She weighed in at 8 pounds, 15 1/2 ounces! Sara loves her little sister, and everyone is doing well. Pictures to come!
