Sorry it's taking so long to post about our Disney trip - we've been busy!

On Wednesday (2/8) we went to Disney-MGM Studios. We got in first (of course), and shivered while we waited for rope drop. We went to Tower of Terror, which I didn't like when we rode it in California, but I wanted to be a good sport since Patrick wanted to ride it. I hated it. It was worse than the one in California. I don't like the "free fall"aspect. Actually, it is faster than a free fall because the ride mechanism actually pulls you down faster than gravity. Then we went to the Rockin' Roller Coaster, which I liked but Patrick didn't. I guess we're even.

We saw the Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt show which was brought over from Disneyland Paris. It was fantastic - not to be missed. We saw the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular where Patrick volunteered to be an extra. Both shows featured lots of explosions. We decided that Disney-MGM has more fire than any of the other parks.

We ate at the 50's Prime Time Cafe (thanks for the tip John and Shelley), which was very well-themed and yet another place where they were able to accomodate my lactose intolerance. There was great shopping in the park, and we were able to pick up a few things and have them sent back to the hotel. We got some dinner and took it with us to wait for Fantasmic! It's basically the same show as in California, but the massive arena it's in gives it a totally different feel. I think we both prefer the California version, but it's always cool when Mickey shoots fireworks out of his hands.

The only downside to Disney-MGM is that it's not on the monorail, and so it took a while to get back to the hotel via bus.
