a few tidbits

Here are a few newsworthy items from the Watts house this week:

  • Adam got through his first shots like a champ. He spiked a 100.6 degree fever, but was still smiling!
  • Patrick played keyboards for Oak Hill School's production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory this past weekend. As usual, the production was great, and this year, the lead role was portrayed by the son of some friends of ours. Adam and I managed to attend the first half of the show on Saturday night. When I saw the Oompa Loompas, all I could think of was "They don't look like Presbyterians to me."
  • Last Thursday night, Patrick was driving the truck through a construction zone on I-65 when he got rear-ended. Of course, the lady who hit him doesn't have insurance. We're wading through that mess this week.
  • Last night, I heard a crash from our room and discovered a closet catastrophe. The section of shelving that my dresses hung on came out of the wall. Fortunately, I won't need to use those clothes this week. Patrick is going to use it as an opportunity to upgrade that section of the closet.

I think I'll pray that your life will "get less exciting" between the car and the closet!!
